Jennifer+Farshad : Hudson Valley Private Home Wedding

With each one of these posts that I put together, I have to just say that I have been so incredibly lucky to be connected with the incredible couples that have crossed my path and chosen me to document their wedding days, events and portrait milestones. I love weddings- its just a part of who I am- I truly love the build up, the excitement of the day, reliving the day through the images and films. I can’t explain why I love it any more than I can explain the way that the earth is round. There are so many elements that go into a wedding day – details, moments, glances, powerful portraits, subtle candids- I am honored to be there for them all. None are more important than the next and they all deserve their place in the sun. Jennifer and Farshad’s wedding was no exception to this tactic. Jennifer poured her heart and soul into this event and had help from their families in crafting the perfect day. From her attention to detail to the personal connection her family has to the small church in the hamlet of Phoenicia, NY- every bit of this day was magic. They rented a home in Woodstock for the creation of her canvas and wove a beautiful and emotional tapestry for their wedding day. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them.
